Babies spO2 levels dropping to 94% while sleeping… concerning? Please help!
Hi there. I wanted a professionals opinion on something.. My daughter (female, weighing 12 pounds 6.5 ounces at last pediatrician appt) is 3 months old as of today, has a Eufy sleep sock and monitor and I normally always check her sleep report the morning after when we take her sock off. I’ve noticed that she always has consistent dips to 94% during her sleep. They don’t stay at 94% it just dips down to it for a few seconds then goes back up. Is this normal or should I take her in to be seen? I have taken her to the hospital a few times for a few different reasons, and they always hook her up to their oxygen monitor where she’s always got 100% oxygen levels and they always stay at 100%. But the at home sock says differently when we’re home. It jumps all over the place between 94%-99%, but never at 100%.
For some insight she does have pretty severe GERD & Silent Reflux. She is on 8mg daily of Prilosec. She also has suspected laryngomalacia. We see an ENT August 25th but I’m worried about that appointment being so far away, if the dips to 94% are something we should be concerned about.
Can someone tell me if this is normal, or if I should take her to the ER and/or pediatrician next time this happens?
