Is it really radical to refuse to knowingly shop at MAGA-aligned businesses anymore?
To preface I am no longer centrist but I was a centrist for many years and believe moderate discussion is very important. That said, I cannot stomach giving money to MAGA aligned businesses anymore, and I believe anyone who sees the MAGA movement for what it is has a responsibility to avoid those businesses. My cousin's cancer trial was canceled by DOGE cuts, and they now will certainly be dead by the end of the year. The MAGA movement has shown to be a deadly threat to my family and friends livelihoods.
The millions who voted against this need to get serious and stop shopping at all known MAGA-aligned businesses. I know some are and that's great, but most are still choosing personal convenience and inadvertently funding the MAGA cult.
Change takes serious sacrifice and as long as most choose convenience, MAGA will gut every part of this country and things will only get worse.
The MAGA cult is everywhere. If you are not willing to stop the money flow and make these cult members destitute; they will happily continue to use their power to cut more services and make your life worse.
The hard times are here. There is a way through, but it means making personal sacrifices and dealing with inconveniences like shopping at different places. It means supporting community aid and uplifting others against those ruining the nation.
People tell me I have gone off the deep end for doing this. But I truly believe the MAGA movement is a serious threat that deserves a serious response. I also still believe in capitalist ideals where no business is owed support if their views are reprehensible.
