It sucks being disabled and chronically ill

Help!

DAS used to be the reason I felt comfortable going to Disneyland. I have a knee disability, an anxiety disorder and chronic illness that flares up without warning. Standing in long lines isn’t an option for me and can leave me in debilitating pain. I used to feel like Disney got that. It gave me joy and a sense of normalcy. That’s why I paid for the highest pass. But now I can’t even use it most of the time. The res. system and new DAS rules feel like they’re built to punish people like me. • I only come with my partner. I can’t wait alone for an alternative like Rider Switch because I need constant support • If I make a res. and don’t show up because I physically can’t, I get penalized. (So does my partner because he’s my support person) • If I feel good enough to go spontaneously, I usually can’t, because everything’s fully booked. When I reached out to them urging reassessment of the system to not exclude those of us who are pass holders and disabled, they could only copy paste a prompt to me, restating their DAS rules :( Every day is unpredictable when you’re disabled. The system doesn’t leave room for that. :(
