Quick Cast With Indicator

Hello I am a new dota 2 player coming over from League of Legends. In that game there is an option that allows you to have quick cast on, but it will show you the range indicator for the spell before you cast it. So you can basically hold down the button until you are ready to cast, and then let go once you know you are in range. Does Dota have anything like that? I saw the range indicator always on, but not exactly what I was wanting. Thanks!
