Does anyone love the deep south (Cape Town)?

I've seen a bunch of posts from people asking advice about moving to CT , locals and otherwise. Weather moving permanently/indefinitely or holidaying looking for guidance on where to visit, rent etc and I'm yet to see a suggestion to visit/stay/relocate to the deep south areas like Simon's Town, Glencairn, Capri, Sun Valley, Noordhoek, Scarborough, Kommetjie etc.

How about a drive through Chapman's Peak or a winefarm in Noordhoek or the views and waterfall in Simons Town (plus the Navy is pretty cool) or Misty Cliffs in Scarborough, Lunch and shopping in Kalk Bay? So much to do down here!

Personally the deep South is infinitely more beautiful than the city (where most of the suggested areas for living and things to do). It's quieter, it's cleaner and it's honestly where the true beauty of Cape Town really is. It's got more soul and it feels more authentic.

Obviously, I really get why younger peeps would prefer the city for the nightlife and younger crowd, so I have to concede to pros and cons.

So for anyone planning on visiting or moving to Cape Town, don't discount the deep south!

Cheers 🥂
