Is this a response to a traumatic experience?

I've read and see women who were with the older men explaining the daddy issues. I am not attracted to the older men at all, although I had an absent father figure, who has been drinking and verbally abusive.. older man scare me, as well as loud noises, music..people who walk around stomping their feet, loud talking, I am attracted to calmer, tender men who are younger than me.. I myself look very young and people still think I am in college:) I keep attracting younger men, although get lot of attention from older men in my workplace to which I don't react- they seem like "danger" like older uncles I don't want to associate with... Do you have any similar experience or suggestions? Thank you 🙏
