Is Sakurai really that good in volume 8?

I'll write right away that I haven't read volume 8.

Reading the comments about volume 8, I noticed how much Sakurai was praised and many called Nuku an enemy of women (justifiably). Can you go into more detail about what Sakurai was doing in volume 8? Why is everyone praising him so much?

You can describe it in detail, I'm not afraid of spoilers. I actually started reading the novel because of the volume 4 spoilers on reddit.
