Painful intercourse and bleeding

F 21. I was a virgin until 9 months ago and since have been experiencing painful sex and bleeding after sex. At first I assumed the pain and bleeding were normal and would go away, but they never did. I've been to the gynaecologist 3 times and they've all just shrugged their shoulders and said that I'm young and should wait for it to go away. "You're body will get used to it" but it's not. They found one small polyp, but that's it.

Tight muscles would explain the pain, but what about the bleeding? We use a lot of lubrication but that does nothing for the pain. I'm always sore for days after and bleed for 1-3 days. Not a lot, but still enough to concern me.

I had an iud inserted and that was hands down the most painful experience of my life thus far. They said that I was having contractions and gave me strong pain killers for a few days. I still get sharp stabbing like pains out of the blue after having it inserted.

The pain has made me feel like a horrible partner and like I'm being punished for not waiting until marriage. Sex is supposed to be this amazing thing, but for me it's agony. I'm getting more and more anxious about sex and have started avoiding it because I am so afraid of the pain. J feel so ashamed and misunderstood and like there is nothing I can do to fix this.
