Steam deck wont do 4k on 4k tv.

Hey all, my steam deck for some reason will only recognize my 4k tv as a 1080p tv. I know this is not true and not an issue with the tv as I checked my xbox and it could display 4k. I also know it's not an issue with the dock as it could display 4k on the OTHER tv that i cant use right now. Any advice?

(If you want some info on the tv, it is TCL Roku model 49S405)
