What's up with this player base?

I'm trying my butt off to get out of 2v2 silver, but I'm getting stuck with players that only put up single to double digit points and act like they're a 1 man team hero that's going to carry us all to the top, or instant idlers that just back out within the first min of the game. I know you'll all think I'm exaggerating, but i promise you I'm not. I'm just out here trying to defend, rotate and score and all i get stuck with are players that have obviously been carried and should probably stay in casual if they want to learn to fly.
