Keeping future in consideration, whats better to do msc maths or msc chem?

Bsc pcm , I am 25 graduate. And preparing for competitive exams. In case if i fail to get selected, I want msc to be my backup. So either of em which one is better. I love maths to the core but have poor grades in it because of slouching throughout the sem. Have good grade in chemistry but it doesn't have same spark. But i want to choose a sub based on how will be beneficial they will be in future. So can you guys tell
