Anagram Vs MXR Bass Synth

My current board is: EBS Octave>EBS Envelope>Empress Bass>Boss Bass Chorus>DarkglassX Ultra

Ive been saving up for the Anagram, since I would like to have the ability to save presets, especially for synth bass sounds. Right now I have to set my Envelope in a way that’s good enough for anything and then maybe colour it up with Octave and Chorus.

But with the MXR Bass synth it looks like it would do everything I need at a fraction of the cost. If I got the Anagram I’d replace everything except the Empress, but if I got the MXR I’d just replace the Envelope and maybe Chorus (I could make a chorus only preset as well)

What do y’all think? Has anyone tried both? What’s peoples experiences been like with each? Im leaning towards the MXR since it’s cheaper and I’m pretty happy with my rig other than synth capabilities.
