Multipliers in Dragon Ball Super
First of all, Super is terrible when trying to reconcile how strong each character is compared to one another. And A lack of an official guide, such as daizenshuu, makes all these total speculative.
Super Saiyan God- 1,000
While this number seems very low, for all the numbers that come after and how other characters get massive power ups, this actually is clean to me. I get this number from the V-Jump article claiming Potara and Dance fusions are equal. So, assuming Goku and Vegeta are equal in base- 1 + 1 X 10 = 20 for the base. 20 X 50 = 1,000. Now Goku did state that he never felt such strength before, but since this would equal a thousand, making the power greater than ssj3, I would say this math works.
Initial Super Saiyan Blue- 5,000
More confusing, in the manga blue is shown to have stamina issues, and Whis saying Vegeta's weakened blue state is less than 10% of his true power. A power Goku is stronger than. So, to not make power creep too high, a 5x multiplier would work.
Super Saiyan Blue- 50,000
Bringing the number full circle, a 50x boost from Red. Almost matching the 20X kaio-ken in the anime. Another reason to have this number is in Dragon ball Heroes, Blue and ssj4 are shown as being equals. In the Baby saga this number fits perfectly well. If Goku would be at a 1 and ssj3 at a 400, 1st form Baby would equal 500. In the GT perfect files, Baby's transformations mimicked Super Saiyan. So, Baby would be 1,000 in 2nd form, 4,000 in 3rd form. If Golden Giant ape equaled combined Giant ape and ssj, 500 would still be too low. 5,000 would work as Goku was stronger at that point. Then, adding 10x multiplier would equal 50,000, the same as Blue. This would also work for Baby golden ape and SSJ4 being equal in their fight, as Baby low base equaling 10, multiplied by 50 equaling the 500 ssj1 form. Taking that number of 10 in base and multiplying by 5,000 would also equal 50,000.
Ultra Instinct- 1,000,000
The real reason is 20x stronger is a huge boost and the number 1 million is a very clean number.
