Help, I’m going to Italy and Greece and need recs

So I’m going to Italy and Greece, and after shopping around to pick a fragrance to pick to take over there, many perfumers told me to not take U.S. fragrances over there. Telling me that what ever is in Europe, stays in Europe, can anyone tell me names of certain perfumery houses that are hard to get over here in the U.S. I have no idea about any and want one as a souvenir.
