Move-in dates for transfer students?

Hi, I’m transferring to MSU for my junior year from a community college and am housed in the dorms. I’m a little bit puzzled about whether i’m supposed to move in during the incoming student or returning student days.

I applied for housing through the returning student housing portal, so I’m assuming it’s on the returning student day, but I wanted to be sure. I’m scared I’ll show up the wrong day and not be allowed to move in or something 😅

Also, is there any way you can learn who you’re sharing a bathroom with in advance if you’re housed in a permanent single? It’s not super important, but I’d like to know in case they have any organizational/cleanliness habits they need me to know. I’ve only ever lived with my parents and I’m really worried about bothering people.
