28 and proud
Hii, so I saw my results a few hours ago, and although 28 may well be a low result for many, I am ecstatic. My only, one wish for the IB was passing it. And I did, against all odds!
The highest score that anyone in my school has ever received is 35. So passing and getting anything over 24 is a big deal. Last year, only 15 M24 students earned their IB diploma, which is way less than half of the entire class.
I hope that this can cheer someone else up who got a result "below average" and is feeling bad about it. Honestly, it sucks when you feel like you could've done better, but it doesn't mean that you're dumb or incompetent.
Passing in itself is amazing! And you should feel proud of yourself for doing so! At my school passing is a blessing haha, and shouldn't be taken for granted.
I wish you all luck if you wish to pursue a remark or a retake! Just remember that your IB result doesn't and should never define who you are or what your worth.
