I got recently into Nier automata. what a nice dystopian world!

SpoilerNieR Automata

I finished Clair Obscure expedition 33 a while ago, and i was having a hard time to starting a new game. I felt it took much 'energy' away from me. Plus, didn't just want to find a good game, but one with a deep story and nice music too. I'm more inclined into these kind of games lately. And i saw recommendations with similar games that are story and music focused, and Nier automata got to my attention.

Gamewise, i am a bit after the encounter with 2A in the castle with the baby king. I like it so far. The music is very good, the combat feels nice to slash everything around with combos. The amusement park is my favorite so far. The last lines of the machine as you complete the 'stamp' quest asks you to look 'inward' and reflect, only assured me that this is the kind of game i was looking for.

But above all ,it's the story and the 'questions' it poses that did it for me to play the game so far. The concepts such as 'the creator and the relationship/responsibility with its creation', of what reality and being alive means, and other questions that are rooted in philosophy.

I also like the characher developement so far for the main characters. 2B seems like a strictly focused on the mission android ( although she acknowledges the 'emotional' side of things from time to time), and 9s is already showing increasingly more 'corrupted system operation'. or better 'consciousness'.

I got invested to some of the characters and some seemingly sentient robots and their side quests. In Pascal village.

This game's story seems bleak so far, and given how friendly and 'alive' these machines feel, and how 9s seems to be 'shifting away' from the mission, i think i'll have to prepare myself for a heart break. Something like "you'll have to fight 9s in the end as 2B" , or "the whole peaceful village is getting whipped out" .

I don't want any spoilers please. I just wanted to share how i'm 'living' the game, since i got into the Nier world recently. having jumped from another deep, thought provoking game, nier automata is just what i needed.
