Creating the space I needed as a Black woman abroad — wanted to share with this community

Hey y’all! Longtime lurker, first time poster 👋🏾 (mods, let me know if this is okay to post)....

I’ve followed this sub for a while and noticed how often people are asking for real, experience-based support. (More than just filtered photos or blog answers). I've been in the same boat!

A few years ago, I moved abroad solo (mid-pandemic) and have been bopping around ever since. While it's been life-changing in so many ways, it's also quite lonely at times. I often find myself searching for something deeper. Connection, safety, community.

So here's what I want to share with you, I recently launched something called TribeAbroad. It’s a private space specifically for Black women living abroad to connect, get support, and just feel seen. We're just getting started and I'm building it with care and intention.
