Must have Smart Home Devices in 2025?

I'm doing a reno and wanted to install some smart home devices.

Was thinking about a Smart Lock, but some people on Level Lock form said it wasn't worth it, is this the case for also Yale type of smart lock.

Other than that was going to get:
* Hue Smart Lights for all the recessed lights, and getting everything to be completely wired to be on and then use these Etsy plates to cover up all existing light switches and just going to use Hue mini switches and Hue dimmers. (is this a bad idea).

* Use Smart Switches for Under Light Cabinets

* Use Google Nest Doorbell

* Use Nest Cam

* Use Nest Thermostat

I don't know what else is necessary, and if y'all think my current setup makes sense or have any recommendations.
