Scheduled biopsy..what to expect

I finally have a date scheduled for a liver biopsy next month. I am very nervous, not even about any pain but the possibility of a serious complication arising. It is being done percutaneous under an ultrasound and in a hospital. Is there anything I should do or avoid doing before this procedure? What can I expect? How many days of recovery does this take?
