Etiquette for teacher coming to home
I am an adult student who has the piano teacher come to my home for weekly lessons. I always make sure to have a clean area around the piano and when the teacher arrives I am ready to begin. I have no distractions in the background, phone is muted, tv off, etc. When he arrives I offer him something to drink out of hospitality, but he politely declines which I understand it it as he wants to begin the lesson. Should I stop offering each lesson since he declines? Is there any other general etiquette I should have for a teacher coming to my home?
