Disappointed

I liked flighty a lot, I even had a subscription. But this year, something happened.

The app acts weird when a flight is diverted. I had 2 flights that have been diverted to other airports. Seems like this option doesn’t even exist in the app, it just shows huge delays and random times, which isn’t very helpful while I have to wait at an airport where I am not supposed to be. After the flight is finished, nothing changes in the app. On the map, the route just interrupts randomly. The timetable is random.

Not showing a delay is already a new normal for flighty I don’t even notice. When one of my flight has been delayed for 5 hours, flighty suddenly showed that the plane is already taxing, while in fact everyone was still waiting in the terminal. And the route shows as incomplete again.

I carefully reported every problematic flight, but nothing changed.

The last straw was the moment when I cancelled the subscription but still have been charged without renewing the subscription (but I’m not sure whether it’s on flighty or on apple).

The app seems to be convenient and beautiful, and a huge ego boost, but it isn’t a reliable source of information anymore.
