Ai in university

Saw some posts on here regarding Ai, and I wanted to get some opinions.

I have unfortunately fallen victim to ai, and have used it sometimes with my school work. However, I have never used it to do my work as I would be depriving myself the opportunity to learn and screwing myself over when it comes to exam time.

I have always written my own work and found my own sources and properly read through everything and taught myself whatever I need to for my success. On occasion, I have used ai to check my finished work and make sure that it is ready for submission. I never ask it to help me write anything, because 1. that is cheating 2. I quite frankly don't like how it writes and I prefer my own verbiage.

For my degree I will have to write essays, and I'm just wondering if I could continue this in University. I used to write essays on paper during class time (because my teacher didn't want cheaters) and I always got 100% or 95% on my essays, so I'm quite fine already on my own, but regardless I thought I'd get everyones opinion here.
