Family law?

Hello all! I’m posting on my throwaway account just in case as this involves younger individuals.

So I’m asking on behalf of my grandparents. So a little back story.

My sister had a daughter and was living with me and my grandparents for a while then 2 years ago she moved out and it took a while but we started seeing my niece more and more. A year ago she moved in with her dad and we barely saw her. Now she’s moving to somewhere that is 2 hours away but now her dad (I have somewhat communication with him) is alluding to the fact that we will barely get to see her as “we are too far now”.

My niece has told me she’s not happy with her mom and not happy with her dad so she’s kinda just stuck. Poor kid has moved 3 times in a year.

My question is would my parents be able to fight for grandparents rights? Like maybe that she has to visit at least once a month on a weekend or something?
