Rekordbox version 7. Installation

Good evening - I am looking to switch from version 6. To 7. Shall I delete the version 6. Before getting into the installation of the version 7. ? Or keep 6. Installed until the version 7. Is installed ? Or does Relordbox automatically detects a previous version when installing a later version ? before starting anything would love to know the thoughts from those who made the switch already.
