A few months ago, a few people said that it wasn't possible to do dead money starting at level 1 and it was too hard. Well, I finally did it and it is possible to get every unique, get the good ending and all the machine codes. This wasn't an optimized run. This was a high intelligence run. I could have ended the run at an earlier level, but I like exploring too much.

A few things I learned:

-if you want pass Christine's and Dog's checks special checks, you want to have perception and intelligence both at 5. The mentats will raise both stats enough to pass Christine's checks and beer will lower it to 4, enough to pass Dog's low intelligence check

- you don't actually need any skill at 75 if you take comprehension which temporarily raise skills by 20 when you read a magazine and gives an extra skill points when you read a skills book. 55 is enough (65 if you want to pass Dog/God speech check). If anything, if you don't want to get retention to make mag effects last longer for lock picking, you can raise it to 75. Everything else is easy to get.

Overall, still the most fun dlc to me. Since enemies scale to your level, it wasn't too much to handle. 10/10 would recommend you try the challenge for yourself. You definitely are more fragile but so is everything else. Oh and this was done on very hard with survival mode on, if that matters to anyone.
