hi i’m looking for some advice (F24)

hello i recently was told i had a 30 mm cancerous tumor in my colon. actually at first i was told it was probably benign by my doctor so i had my hopes up only to get the hard news that it was cancerous about a month ago (when i was 23). so i got biopsies done around the cancer site and also in my stomach and other areas because of lynch syndrome (msh2 mutation) and that was 2 weeks ago. i was told i would get my results in a week and maintained positivity but after that week my mental health has just tanked. it’s been so hard to sleep and i cry every night so i decided to call today to see what the hold up was and i was told that my doctor is having a medical emergency. so they have no idea when he is coming back and im just looking for advice to cope with this waiting. ive been having symptoms right now but i know stress can cause similar reactions and its messing with my head. ive become so negative and anxious and im not really close w my family so just also looking for a community that understands. thanks for reading.
