House music producers are plagiarists

Was walking downtown and heard a song I remembered hearing as a kid in the 90s but there was to much background noise for Shazam to pick it up so I try looking up a famous line from the song but get redirected to a house song that samples the song heavily. It takes me another 3 days of googling to find an accurate citation for the actual song, no where in any of the descriptions for the song even on the producers YouTube page where they have the song was I able to find them giving credit to the original artist. I feel like a lot of house music producers are just plagiarists who take a hook from a song and throw synths over it to call it original work.
