Am I supposed to be seeing cards before “time is up “

Example I have one card left that I’m just learning so I hit “Hard 10mins” instead of the app saying you’re done your next card will be ready in 10mins I get the card again

I’m hesitant to hit “Easy 1d” as I don’t think I’d remember this card tomorrow. So I end up hitting “Hard 10mins”

Is this correct should I just be hitting Easy? I’m using FSRS Anki 25.02.6 and my New Cards Learning Step is “1m 10m” (will use FSRS Helper later to recommend steps here), and my Lapses “Relearning steps” I have left blank for FSRS to adjust
