She had been cheating for weeks and I didn’t know

For reference, I am 31 and she is 27.

We began officially dating at the beginning of June. We spent quite literally 25 days together straight. Two weeks in, she quits her job with no backup plan or money saved. She tells me that she is struggling severely and doesn’t know what to do and that her relationship with her brother is toxic where they live together. I had to go to court with her on the third week because she had unfinished business from her last relationship where it got physical. That day tore her apart too.

I began noticing a shift in her emotions, the way she would talk, show affection etc. Well on Saturday June 28th, she goes kayaking with one of her “girl friends” and is gone all day. She gets home and when I kiss her, I could smell some kind of cologne. I didn’t say anything. We ended up having a great night and had sex again. We had been doing this every time we saw each other but then it all changed on that Monday. She completed disappeared, I thought that something had happened to her and didn’t hear from her for 30 hours.

She apologized and told me how she really appreciated me. She said she was struggling really bad mentally and I understood that. We talked it out and continued on. Then, the next night her brother kicks her out of the house. She calls me and I hear him yelling in the background. I told her to get her stuff and come to my house. She calls at 4:00 am that I need to come get her because her brother had called the cops, so she drove to another state. He didn’t actually call anyone, she just started spiraling. I went and picked her up, brought her back around noon. Filled up her gas tank because she had zero dollars.

We come back to my house, and she is now getting ready for this trip she said her and her friends had planned for a while to an amusement park. She gives me a hug, kisses me and tells me she is going to miss me so much. The plan when she got back was for her to get the rest of her belongings and animals, come back to my place to stay until she could get back on her feet because we both agreed that it is too early to be moving in together but she had no where to go.

When she leaves, radio silence. She was gone from Thursday - Sunday night and I got maybe 8 texts the entire she was gone. She would claim she just didn’t have service and etc.

On her way back Sunday. Her Relationship Status changes to being in a relationship with this guy. I asked her what that was and she said someone hacked her Facebook. Strange it was with a guy I had suspicions around.

She won’t respond or anything so I message him. He messages me back the next morning and turns out she was with him the entire weekend and on that Monday she disappeared. That Saturday she was with another guy because that guy also reached out to him. She completely discards me, blocks me on everything. Her clothes were still at my place so she had to come get them and they came together last night. I tried asking her why she did this and she said she wasn’t having that conversation and to give her the clothes so she could leave. I confronted them both after at the car because I wanted some kind of closure that I never got.

She had begged me to open up to her and be vulnerable which I never do anymore and I trusted her. They are still together and he wants to see where it goes with her. Not to mention, she thinks she may be pregnant which I guess could be anyone’s baby but I think more than likely mine if she was. I bought a pregnancy test for her and put it in the basket of clothes for her to take at some point

I feel so betrayed. Chest is heavy. Can’t sleep. I don’t understand why people choose to treat people in this manner. I offered her a home, took care of her while she was down and this is how I got repaid.

This new guy apparently even bought her new tires when they were on the road because she got a flat. He was also constantly filling her tank up too. She had my names saved as girls name in her phone so this guy wouldn’t know about me. She said her clothes were at a friends house but they were at mine.

I really really liked this girl. In a way I hadn’t liked anyone in a long time. Now, I’m torn apart and she gets to live happily ever after.
