Severe anxiety with anti psychotic switch

My psychiatrist took me from 20 mg Abilify down to 10 mg right away, and put me on Vraylar 1.5 to help control my rapid switching (bipolar 1).

My psychotic symptoms are under control, but my anxiety has been absolutely horrible. Dr upped my hydroxyzine and gabapentin to help with the transition, but it hasn’t worked super well.

I’ve never had this issue with taping down one anti psychotic while being put on another.

I see her next week so I’m gonna try and hold out until then. She also wants to switch my Effexor to Prozac but hasn’t done it yet. She didn’t want to change too much at once and I agree.

Has anybody else had the same experience with severe anxiety during anti psychotic changes?
