Scammer Obstetrician

I went through a medical abortion and my doctor was Dr. Bhumika Kotecha Mundhe who runs the Women's Clinic in Khatar gali I was scared and stressed, which was quite inevitable and visible. The first consultation she told me HER CLINIC CANNOT SUPPORT ABORTION so I have meet her at Masina Hospital in Byculla to collect the pills in a "legal" way. We were charged 3700 rupees for the consultation and the ultrasound. The next day we were there at Masina Hospital. The hospital charged us a consultation fee of 1200 bucks, for meeting the same doctor but at a different location During the consultation she removed the pill kit box and hastily removed the first pill and asked me to take it, and wrapped it in a paper and handed it to us. She gave us the capsule strip and folded the box and kept in her purse. Me and my partner were very stressed and absolutely absentminded in that moment (which we agree was our fault), we didn't question it neither asked for the box. That day she started lecturing us about how I cannot handle pain, and told me how people get surgical abortion and go to work when I asked her for a medical certificate to submit in college for missing the that and the next day (of course nobody was forcing her, she snapped at the mention of it). After giving us the brief of what will happen in the most scariest way (acceptable but unprofessional) she charged us 4000 bucks for the pills. We both were scared enough to just shut up. We realised she was ripping is off when we checked the tablet strip to check the price, the area where the price is written was gone and that's why she gave me the first pill so hurriedly. The box is priced at 600 rupees on 1mg. Now the money aside, it just saddens me how medical professionals are taking advantage of sensitive situations patients go thru and stoop horridly low.

I'd just like y'all to be aware of her and such medical practitioners. Also don't be scared, and look out for sketchy behaviour and ask questions. Don't be absentminded or scared. Take a breath and be present I hope it helps somebody
