Goldback is a great concept and because it is not inherently tied to fiat but rather to fractional amounts of gold. I could see it being relatively straightforward to expand to other countries. Legally speaking, is there anything that precludes this?

It would be pretty cool to see Canadian Alberta Goldbacks, or Italian Sicilian Goldbacks, or Australian GoldCoastBacks! What do people think?
