Visiting after 5 years away; what's to do?

Hey all. Spending my birthday in Yakima next week and need ideas on ways to kill time in a hometown that I'm guessing has changed up a little bit with new sights and businesses to see. Would love to hear what y'all think a good coffee, restaurant, or night out would be!
