Tax strike

I work for part of my local recreation district. We’re very underfunded to the point that all the kids programs are just barely affordable for the people that do them. I live a one of the wealthiest counties in my state (CO) and most to all of our kids are the kids of people who are in the service industry here (ski town, it’s the whole economic base). Everyday I read about kids killed in Gaza, families destroyed in the Ukraine, the Russian casualties are devastating to children and families left back home. I dated a woman who grew up without a father (jail) and it massively fucked her up. I see planes from the front range AFBs and blackhawks from our local base in the air all the time and it fucking infuriates me. Instead of looking after our own children and families our money, our labors surplus is put to the task of destroying children and families on a global scale. I try to keep this out of my head all the time but it’s impossible. What can be done about this? I know the Bolsheviks and Trotsky organized tax strikes, and well this seems like an actual realistic path in America because there’s so much libertarian bullshit in the culture. Am I tripping or is this some sort of impossibility in our context?
