Newbie Post - Charging A Credit Card
Sorry for the really basic question, but I'm trying to figure out a feature and kind of hitting a wall.
I'm a solo singer/guitarist that has used Wave (Starter account) for the last three years or so to simply make up invoices for clients that needed one for accounting purposes and to keep track of/record payments.
I've come into the situation where a corporate client wants me to charge them via a credit card. From what I've seen on the site, that capability can be used with a Starter account. But when I go through the motions to set up online payments, I get a message saying that they can't turn on payments right now and to contact support.
After clicking the "Contact Support" link, I'm forwarded to an AI chat window that basically says that I can't have human chat support without having a paid feature.
This is the first time in almost twenty-five years of playing music that I've been asked to charge a CC, but with the kind of corporate client base that I have been growing, it's possible that I might need the capability to do so a bit more down the road. But I see it as something that I might need two or three times a year and nowhere near the kind of volume that an actual business would have to justify the monthly fee.
I'm sure that if this doesn't work, we can figure out a different method of payment. I just thought that it'd be nice to have the option and be accommodating for future clients if it's needed.
So my question is, is this actually possible with a Starter account on Wave, or might someone have a recommendation of another app that would allow me to charge a CC without an upgraded monthly account?
