New to the area and looking to get involved with the community, mutual aid networks, activism, etc.

Hello! I recently made an unexpected move from Portland to Bellingham. In Portland, I was deeply involved in the community and I am already missing it so much. In addition to my community based job I was involved in several mutual aid networks where we supported our local houseless population, LGBTQIA youth, immigrant families, and political activism. I know Bellingham is significantly smaller so there is likely less need than in the city but I still would like to get involved in whatever the local needs may be. Does anyone know of any mutual aid networks, local political activist groups, etc. that I could dip my toes into?
