Power Supply Question

Hi , i bought an Engl pedal that needs a Power supply of 9 V DC 300 mA, i have one at home that i use on my Line6 pod express that is 9 V DC 500mA. Will i destroy my pedal if i use this power supply with it ? I am asking because i can't find a 9 V DC 500mA anywhere and i am affraid to do something wrong. These companies should just charge for the power supply and ship their products with it tbh
