Struggling with audiobook review - suggestions please .

I accepted an audiobook for an honest review, however, I’m really struggling with the narrator’s style. He tends to be over dramatic at times when there isn’t that much drama and there are pauses when there shouldn’t be any as though his mind has drifted away from the story. His style is really putting me off the actual story. If I had purchased this it would have been a dnf. I’m on Chapter 8 with 6 hours left and cannot tell if I’m invested enough in the story to continue or whether it’s the narration that’s putting me off. What’s your advice please? Do I grit my teeth and struggle on or review as I have found it?
