Shorts and Long Form Videos on One Channel

Hey friends! Just have a question about shorts primarily.

My channel has been doing ok this year, growing from about 200 subs to 575 subs currently on the back of long form videos. I have not posted any shorts this year because I’ve been concerned about how it will affect my long form video performance.

Is there any correlation there? Should I just post the shorts and stop overthinking? Do you post shorts and long form?

Any help would be great!
