Boston 13 and orthotics?
Howdy!
I am running more and more and now need a replacement / new pair of shoes.
I currently roll around in some Hoka Clifton 9s in a 2E. I’ve got some wide flippers and high arches so I have custom orthotics from a podiatrist as well.
A mate suggested some of the adidas line up ( Evo SL and Boston 13). I tried both on at the shop - Evo SL just too narrow but the Boston felt pretty good (snuggish on side but presumably OK once my foot settles into it - I usually find most shoes feel a bit off until my foot settles in and I’ve done my laces to miss the middle section to relief pressure on top of foot).
However, I wonder if having custom orthotics is going to neutralise the benefit of the shoes?
Open to other suggestions of new wheels - I am really keen on having a shoe that doesn’t look and feel like a boat (even tho the hokas are great!)
