Mini PC i9-11900H for Proxmox?
Hi everyone,
I just came across the ACEMAGIC AD08 mini PC for $199 USD on Amazon (link here) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it or could recommend alternatives for a similar price.
I'm looking to use it primarily in a Proxmox cluster, running Home Assistant OS (HAOS) in a VM, and a few LXC containers.
Given its specs (i9-11900H, 16G RAM), it seems like a solid option on paper, but I’d really appreciate any insights regarding:
- Real-world performance for virtualization and HAOS
- Power efficiency and thermals under load
- BIOS or passthrough compatibility issues
- Stability/reliability for 24/7 use
- Better alternatives (same budget range)
Thanks in advance!
