This is a secondary account, never really used it much in Divisions, just enough to reach Div 3 or 2 depending on the mood.

As usual I started this phase in D5. In lower divisions I use to bench the regulars (Yorke, Messi, Palmer, Lobotka, Belletti, Adams) to try out others. In this case the new additions were Kolo (barely used him until now), Nuno Mendes (great f2p LB), Bellingham and Piqué.

Santos Neymar is always on the team (best F2P dribbler imo, shame about the passing), and Kluivert I just can’t live without him, same for Pedri in any of his cards.

Once I reached D3 I figured I’d keep going. I made it to D2 undefeated and decided to push for D1 for the first time ever with this account.

Kolo was scoring or assisting every single game, (82 G/A in 90 games after the run) so I decided my fav striker Yorke wouldn’t touch the pitch until I lost the first match, not even as a sub for not messing up his stats, Owen was the supersub instead and clutch AF). I reached this point unbeaten.

Longest strike beyond D3 and got the 15 consecutive wins badge.

Then things got really tough, constant 3200+, most D1. Out of my last 8 matches, 6 were against D1 players, the last one max rank is 670 (thanks for that one Konami).

I lost my first match, Yorke came back from holidays to try for the final push and finally made it:

As gameplan I always end up defaulting to 433. I play many formations but 433 is home. I rely a lot in wingers and scaping intense pressing by dribbling.

Running won't take you far against stronger teams and it makes you predictable. Constant changing pace, using the whole pitch and dribbling+skills is what makes you lethal even against 3260 experienced rivals.

Lastly, some thoughts on Divisions, p2w and pass assist:

When I read others F2P D1 runs, people often comment “this proves skill is the most important thing” or “this proves is not a P2W game” and honestly, that’s misleading.

I have a main account for 3 years with several epics, and ever since getting my first endgame one in early eFootball 2025, I noticed the difference right away. Epics have a critical impact, even in unskilled hands, specially thanks to Konami’s ongoing tweaks.

Is that impact always no matter what the key factor for deciding a game? No, but it is decisive in many events during the match.

About Pass Assist, I use level 3 as a compromise, even though it annoys me when it overrides some passes. Most players use level 1 and some level 2, and playing on 3 against them is a real disadvantage. (FUMA players are a different story, full respect and admiration to them.)

Level 3 is still assisted but Level 1 is just broken. Most opponents just spam triangle passes at every oportunity, some also use stunning pass from their defense to kick the ball up after every single ball recovery in their half.

All they need is one lucky bounce, one misplaced player or one failed tackle and it’s a free goal for them. In my opinion the game becomes so dumb playing like that.

I don't hate the players, I hate the idea of doing that and the idea of playing with the most assisted passes possible.

PA1 creates situations where no matter what you do you concede the goal. In fact the the type of goal I concede the most is a fully assisted pass + first time shoot. A goal that you can't prevent many of the times no matter how you saw it comming and tried to anticipate.

Honestly it feels like cheating and I can't understand the mentality of enjoying that. It makes Divisions feel like a kids’ game. And no, “casual” isn’t an excuse, I’m a casual player too, but if you actually like football, I don’t get how you wouldn’t want to control your passes at least a bit.

I encourage people to play the least assisted settings possible. You will be able to be more creative and will enjoy more of your plays and goals.
