50 cent pieces

Hi I'm new to bank hunting I found a few coins here and there Buffalo nickels stuff like that but I want to know what to look for when looking at half dollars I'm thinking about going to the bank and buying a few rolls but not sure what to do or what I need to look for when looking at half dollars
