What started as a personal crack theory might actually be onto something

Theory

The knight. The roaring knight. I was thinking about the knight when randomly my brain thought "lmao what if it's actually Asriel".

At first it was a crack theory, but then I realised that more and more things about it made sense. Asriel's final form in the Undertale pacifist ending looks a lot like the knight (general body shape, spiky shoulders, holes in the back of the hands). Trough the chapters, the characters keep using He/him pronouns for the knight (which kinda contradicts my previous Dess=Knight view), Ariel Ariel has horns (though the knight's horns are cross shaped), the knight's final attack is literally Asriel's final attack in Undertale, the beat at the start of Black Knife and the beat at the beginning of Asriel's second form fight are basically the same melody. There are just so many similarities between the knight and Asriel (specifically the final Asriel fight in Undertale, for some reason) that I wouldn't be surprised if Asriel being the knight was actually a plot twist.
