How long does it take to be refunded points?

Southwest just sent out a “coupon code” for flights, the flight that I booked for 2 people in October is now 29,000pts instead of the 46,000pts.

I was wondering if I cancel and rebook how long it would take to see the 46,000pts back to my account?

I already tried to change the flight but since it’s the “coupon code” that discounts the flight there’s no adjustment to be made.
