M(29) with obstructive sleep apnea using mouth taping instead of a cpap

NSFWGeneral Question/Discussion

Essentially the title, I lost my insurance and I cannot afford a machine, I have to have a bipap instead of a cpap and that change is about $1500 more, I’ve been using mouth tape for about a week and I’ve suddenly been wetting the bed, used for 7 days and wet the bed twice, I’ve looked into it and apparently bed wetting is a bad sign with sleep apnea, and a machine should make it better, my dilemma is I feel way better when I use mouth tape then when I don’t, and I’m not sure if I’m just getting anxiety in my sleep and peeing or if I’m flirting with death in my sleep, answers online are vague and not really an answer for me, any doctors here who would have some input?
