Truck stuck in Neutral when put into Drive

2017 GMC Sierra 90K miles

Backed out of my driveway, made it to the first stop light just fine, when it turned green and I went to accelerate, the car acted like it was in neutral. No acceleration and just a revving engine.

Reverse DOES work (not sure what that tells you), and fortunately I was still very close to the house and was able to reverse back to the driveway.

Anything I can look myself for as a potential problem/solution before having it towed to the dealership?
