14 year long neck spasms (I’m 23)

When I was nine I was at summer camp and felt a sudden horrible pain and spasm in my neck that jerked my head to the side. It was so bad that I thought someone had kicked a ball at my head. When I turned around no one was there. Ever since then I’ve had this spasm in the left side of my neck when I turn it around or get tense. It’s painful and sometimes feels like a nerve is being caught. I’ve tried biofeedback, Botox injections, massage therapy, acupuncture, but nothing makes it go away. They’ve done MRIs of my cervical and thoracic spine but no one seems to find anything. Sometimes the spasms are so bad that the muscle makes a popping noise that can be heard by other people. What could this be? I feel like it’ll be this way for the rest of my life. Any ideas are appreciated!
