How to offset our mortgage by turning our home into both a residence and a source of income?
Hi everyone! We’re looking for practical ideas to cover (at least partially) our monthly mortgage payment by better leveraging our home. We live in it, so the idea is to keep it as our main residence while also turning it into a small income source.
We're considering options like renting out a room, using unused spaces (garage, terrace, garden), side hustles from home, short-term rentals, and so on. Has anyone done something similar or has concrete suggestions?
(We know we could rent a room, but do you have any other creative ideas or things that could work to make a revenue?
